Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Swatches and Review

I got a whole slew of goodies from Be A Bombshell Cosmetics.  I got a few goodies to share with you guys and hopefully you see something that you like!

Last Call Girl Lip Gloss– This lip gloss is just as phenomenal outside of the tube as it is in the tube. This is an opaque finish hot pink gloss. There’s a doe foot wand inside this tube, which gives the gloss good even application. I really love this shade and love that it wasn’t inundated in glitter. May I suggest you apply a lip liner first, your lips and your look will thank you.

They have 4 additional shades for you to chose from on their site. Lip glosses are priced at $10.95.

Next up are two eyeshadows from their brand.  One was a pearl finish and the other matte.

Money Money is a greenish-gold eyeshadow with black undertones. This is a very unique shadow with pretty good pigmentation.  I did not use a primer with the swatch to show you it’s real finish, but I am 100% sure that you throw a primer under this shadow, you will be able to create a phenomenal smoky eye with a twist.

Price- $10.95

Showstopper is a matte royal blue shade. In true matte eye shadow form, this had poor pigmentation. Not the fault of the brand really, because I have ran into more than a few MAC eye shadows in my day that were mattes and had poor pigmentation.  You just kinda live with after so long.  I scraped and scraped and scraped to get this swatch. I imagine with a primer, it will be ok.

Price- $10.95

Blind Date Blush– Blind date is a beautiful bright coral blush that will brighten up the deadest of looks.  Super smooth, highly pigmented and easy to apply.  I love this blush and it will probably end up being one of my favorite blushes to use.

Price- $12.95

Onyx eyeliner– This is an eyeliner in the form of a pen. The tip is nice and precise.  Makes for a good straight line. I like the pigmentation of the liner, it’s nice and black. I got about a good 6 hours use off this liner.

The liner is priced at $11.95 and only comes in one color, Onyx.

Last but not least their mascara. The mascara was probably the low point of my entire review, as it was not that great.  On their website, nor on the packaging does it state what this mascara does.  This is all that’s listed on the site-

Big, Beautiful, Luscious lashes are the foundation of a bombshell look. Apply 2-3 coats for a “WOW” effect.

Okay that’s great but…..

Does it lengthen?

Does it give the lashes more volume?

The brush is your basic mascara wand, nothing spectacular.

See the after? Nothing impressive. This is three coats by the way.  It did not smudge, the mascara washes off easily though, so that’s a plus.

The mascara is priced at $11.95 and only comes in one color, Onyx.

Overall, I think this is a brand with potential.  I wish there was an assorted range of colors for the eyeliners, and the blushes.  I also wish the mascara had better formulation.  The lip-glosses and the eye shadows are hits indeed. You need them all!

Check out their website for more products, news, and to be a part of the bombshell experience!

Stay tuned for a face of the day!
