It’s not hard to see why fall is so many people’s favorite season. The air is crisper and fresher than at any other time of the year, the leaves are beginning to change color, and it’s a beautiful sight to behold, and pumpkin spice lattes are the order of the day. Fall is also the perfect season to finally lose that weight and make your best body a reality.

Why is fall the best season to lose weight? Let me count the reasons…

Cooler Weather is Better for Exercise

It is so much easier to stick to an outdoor exercise regime when the weather is cooler. You can walk or run outdoors in the lovely, refreshing, crisp air without turning into a big ole sweaty mess (well not as much of one anyway), which means you’re less likely to skip out on your morning run because it’s just too hot and you know you’ll struggle. All the pretty leaves will also give you more of an incentive to get out and about on foot in your community, rather than taking the car everywhere, which is an added bonus.

Another bonus of the weather being so good for outdoor exercise is that the gyms tend to be a lot less crowded too. So. if exercising in the great outdoors isn’t really your thing, you can exercise indoors in more comfort too.

Fall is a great season for anyone who is looking to eat healthier. There are lots of crisp fall apples, delicious pumpkins and squashes, and sweet potatoes, and ore which you can find here, which are all healthy, wholesome and low-calories, despite tasting like a little taste of heaven right here on earth.

It’s Soup Season

Fall is, of course, also the start of soup season for many of us. There’s a chill in the air, and a warming bowl of hearty pumpkin soup is just what the doctor ordered. Lucky for us, soups, especially those made with some of the fall produce mentioned above, are low calorie, and because they’re a blend of water and veggies, meat, etc., they tend to be more filling, which means you aren’t tempted to eat quite so much.
