If you remember, I blogged about Scentbird back in July. They have since made some changes to the subscription service and it’s better than ever.

Product Shot

The first notable change is the perfume bottles. The original Scentbird service sent a vial decant of the perfume you wanted to try, and a full sized bottle. The catch was if you had no plans on purchasing the fragrance, you sent the full sized bottle back, as long as the box was still sealed. Now, you get a decant of the fragrance you want in a travel sized atomizer that holds a 30 day supply.

The second change is a wider selection of fragrances. As promised, they offer more fragrances than ever before.

The last change was the quiz to help you pick a scent. They ask more detailed questions then ask you to pick three scents you like, if you don’t remember the name, you can choose from a list. This gives better results than the original model, which was to pick three scents.

I gave the new Scentbird a test drive and ended up picking a decant of Tom Ford Black Orchid. Shipping was still excellent and speedy. The fragrance arrived in a sleek black tube packaged in a velvet fragrance pouch.

The new Scentbird subscription retails for $14.95 a month, and you get a different fragrance every month. There are also gift options available: three months for $44, six months for $84, and 12 months for $164.
