Ahava Dead Sea Crystal Osmoter Facial Serum is a turbo-charged lipid-based serum that merges with the surface layers of the skin with the greatest of ease, delivering an essential active ingredients to strengthen and revive even the most visible signs of aging. Wrinkles are significantly reduced, moisture, elasticity and firmness are measurably restored.
I dabble here and there with k-beauty, sheet masks I have down to a science. Serums outside of sheet masks is a blur. I’m really interested in adding a serum to my routine is this will be the first of many serums I will try over the upcoming months.
What attracted me to this serum, in particular, is the clinical studies. Women between the ages of 40 and 60 used this serum for just 4 weeks and noted some phenomenal improvements:
- 84% of women reported Dead Sea Crystal Osmoter™ gives their skin a healthy glow after 14 days of usage
- 91% of women stated skin feels moisturized after initial use
- 80% of women felt their skin is vital again after only 7 days of usage
- 90% of women stated skin feels nourished and noticeably softer after 7 days
- 84% reported Dead Sea Crystal Osmoter™ softens rough skin texture after 14 days
See what I mean? I want some of that.
How to use
Massage 3 to 4 drops onto clean skin in the AM or PM and follow up with your normal moisturizer.
My skin type is dry for reference.
To date, I’ve only used one serum in the past, Nourish Organic Pure Hydrating Argan Face Serum, so my experience with serums is a little lax. The texture of this serum is very light and oily. It absorbs into the skin very quickly leaving behind no greasy residue. The scent is very light and citrusy.
Immediately after the first use, I noticed my skin was more hydrated and soft than normal. After two weeks my skin was noticeable softer and supple, almost creamy. I am currently in week 3 and I’m loving the results. I have not experienced any allergic reactions.
I’m really loving this serum, and until something better comes along, I’ll be using this for a while!
