Living in Mississippi, the best part of the summer for me is peaches. Summer is really all about fruit for me, but there’s something about searching for the perfect peach. Ripe, juicy, and sweet, that’s the greatest reward for hunting down the best peaches. Problem is, the season does not last that long, and there’s only a short period (or at least here) that you can find it. So what do you do when you can’t eat your favorite fruit? You slather it on your body DUH!
The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Collection is a special edition scent specifically for the summer. Vineyard peach smells like a sweet peach with just a hint of tart (personally, those are the best ones). Here’s a brief review of all the products I tried! And yes, each one of these products has real peach extract.
This is great for days that you don’t want anything thick on the skin. This lotion enriched with Shea butter leaves the skin soft and silky to the touch, kinda like a peach!
This incredibly yummy scrub exfoliates away all dead and dry skin leaving nothing behind but silky smooth skin. Coconut shell powder is the star of the show as the exfoliating agent.
Peach Butter? YES! A bit goes a long way with this non greasy body butter. I got a good 15 hours of continuous moisture (they say 24, but I’m not going 24 hours without bathing in the name of blogging).
This shower gel is soap free and cleanses with ease. I love the light and intoxicating scent of peaches. My skin is left clean, fresh and ready to butter down! The scent does not linger on the skin very long, so keep that in mind and have your butter ready!
