The Seche Rebuild Project Episode 1

The last time I did a review, I was only using for about two weeks, but to be perfectly honest, I have not been consistent in caring for my nails. Let’s first state the obvious- I swatch nail polish, a lot.

I have tested out swatching on my natural nail vs. swatching on top of false nails and let me just say that the damage is just about the same. Using false nails means possibly losing the top layer of my nail.  Swatching using my nail means potential damage from using acetone on my nails to remove polish, I really damaged my nails this time, so may I introduce the Seche Rebuild Project.

Here is a photo of my nails after swatching the Muppets Collection by OPI, and the Kardashian Collection by Nicole By OPI. I was using a nourishing remover, however glitter is not easily removed with that stuff so I decided to use acetone, which dried my nails severely and it instantly my nails started cracking and peeling. You can literally hear these bastards crying.

And here we are today, 11/20/2011. Broken, uneven, dry, damaged nails. Starting on 11/21/2011, I will track my progress at the least once a week, explaining what I did and what I used. Stay tuned!
