Ambi Color Correcting Cream is a new foundation product to hit the market for women of color. Ambi’s CC Cream is formulated with Argan oil, Shea Butter and anti-oxidants to help provide healthy-looking skin. Over time this cream promises to even skin tone while helping shield your skin from environmental damage that may cause uneven skin tone, fine lines, dry skin and accelerated wrinkles. Ambi’s CC Cream also contains broad-spectrum sun protection (SPF 30) without giving the skin that gray, ashy look.

Ambi CC Cream is packaged in an 1.7oz  plastic squeeze tube with a screw cap on the end. The CC cream dispenses the perfect amount of product from a medium sized hole.

Ambi CC Cream has a cream texture, but one could easily think this is a gel to cream formula.

Ambi CC Cream comes in two formulas: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. I thought I fell into the Light/Medium category and while I did give this CC cream a shot, it was just too yellow for my skintone. It did blend very well, giving my skin a luminous finish.  Medium/Dark looks as if it would better suit someone with slightly yellow undertones as well.  Coverage is sheer and not buildable. If you want to wear Ambi’s CC cream and you have a few flaws to hide, apply concealer first, them apply CC cream.

Overall Ambi CC Cream is great for someone looking for sheer coverage and sun protection all in one. Remember with this CC cream, it is recommended that you reapply every two hours.

Ambi CC Cream retails $8.99 and is available at all mass, drug and beauty supply retail stores.
