Disclosure: I received a sample of Clean Cashmere from Scentbird.
Clean Cashmere is the newest fragrance for women from the Clean brand. I’ll admit I’m somewhat of a Clean Fragrance addict, so new releases make me happy, and fall inspired fragrances make me happier.
Clean Cashmere was inspired by the prized wool obtained from goats. Cashmere is very soft, warm and insulating, almost 3 times that of regular sheep wool. After that little tidbit of information, I anticipate a very warm, comfortable, inviting fragrance.
Cashmere was created by perfumer Patricia Choux. Choux is responsible for more than a few of my favorite fragrances, like Michael Kors Very Pretty, Marc Jacobs Splash Orange, and Eau Gourmande Marrons Glaces by Laura Mercier. Check out what Choux had to say about Clean Cashmere:
The fragrance opens with sparkling bergamot, lime, soothing cedar leaf and lavendin. A beautiful warm floral heart of bright mimosa, velvet jasmine, and subtle guaiacwood reveals the softest cashmere on the skin. Enveloped in comforting tonka bean, sensual musks and creamy sandalwood. CLEAN CASHMERE embodies the soothing and warming sensation of being all wrapped up in the most precious cashmere. Clean Cashmere radiates an intriguing yet a completely comforting mood.
After wearing Clean Cashmere one time, it was inevitable that it became my fall fragrance staple alongside Clean Skin. The first spray delivers a sweet blast of bergamot and lime. After a few seconds, the fragrance transforms and you can smell the crisp, yet woody notes of cedar leaf. The fragrance finally dries down to soft, smooth and creamy notes of sandalwood.
Clean Cashmere is smooth, crisp and fall appropriate.
Clean Cashmere EDP retails $20-$69 at Sephora.
