Finding activewear for my plus sized frame can be a drag. While there are a few brands that offer activewear pieces mainly found in mass merchant retailers, they are normally of poor quality. You know what I mean, the fabric is thin and after a few wears your thighs can rub a hole in them; the shirts shrink and you go from being a plus sized diva to Winnie the Pooh.
Rainbeau Curves is a family business located in California. They are the only activewear brand specifically for plus women to offer the designs aesthetics and quality at an affordable price. No matter whether you are full-time mom or a single woman on the go, Rainbeau uses premium performance fabrics to provide comfort, support and style to get through the day.
Rainbeau was generous enough to let me select a few pieces from their collection to give them a test spin. As you may or may not know, I am a mother of five children, so I am always on the go. I wake up every morning at 4am to get my day started, see my husband off to work, and get five children ready for school. I blog, I cook, I clean… I am busy!
From the website I selected:
It is rare to find a good tank with a built in bra that is able to withstand my large chest. Most tanks with built in bras are not big enough and cause boob spillage. The Jocelyn Tank fit perfectly with no overspillage. Not photographed is the awesome Racerback design.
The leggings have an excellent fit and are long enough to fully cover my legs (I’m tall and normally leggings stop right above my ankles). I love the hot pink stripe going down the sides of the legs. The Audrey Legging is very fun and stylish.
This hoodie gives you style and feminine flair! It’s hot pink so it works well with the tank and leggings. There is vent slit at the back of the hoodie for a more comfortable fit. The fabric wicks moisture to keep you cool and dry.
Overall, for my plus size, this was a wonderful set. I love the fit and how cool it feels. Too bad I cant live in this outfit!
