Dermelect All Decked Out Spring/Summer 2015 Swatches And Review

Dermelect All Decked Out

I’m excited to bring Dermelect to you today!  I’ve heard rave reviews about their treatments, so when I was asked to review, I jumped at the chance.

I have three products here:  4 colors, the Memento Manicure Extender top coat and the Revital-Oil Nail and Cuticle treatment.  All of these products promise a 20-minute manicure when used together.  First up are the colors:

Dermelect A Shore Thing

A Shore Thing (two coats):  sheer jelly pink

Dermelect Dune My Thing

Dune My Thing (two coats):  gray-purple crème

Dermelect Fant-A-Sea

Fant-A-Sea (two coats):  peachy orange glass-flecks

Dermelect Lazy Daze

Lazy Daze (two coats):  buttery yellow crème

Lazy Daze applies fairly well for a yellow crème in two coats.  A Shore Thing is the type of color that mimics your own natural color, but better.  Dune My Thing is a chic neutral alternative and should do well in professional environments.  I’m personally not a fan of Fant-A-Sea’s color, but the formula was decent.

The Memento Manicure Extender top coat is a gel hybrid and cures in natural light rather than using a UV light.  Dermelect instructs the user to apply two coats of Dermelect color without a base coat, then layer the top coat.  I instead used the top coat over three other manicures, all with various brands and base coats.  Let me tell you:  this is a great product.  It dries very quickly (to the touch in eight minutes!) and lasts through the week aside from tip wear.  I also used the cuticle treatment after applying the top coat, but this isn’t needed for the lightning-quick dry time.

I’m not thrilled by the All Decked Out colors, but I’m definitely on board with the Memento Manicure Extender top coat.  I’m all about a quick mani nowadays since I spend my non-nail polish hours crocheting.

Say hi to Hobbes!  He was a special request from my husband.

Dermelect can be found at Dermelect.com or Ulta.  The polishes and cuticle oil are priced at $14 a piece and the top coat is $16.

Fant-A-Sea is nice, it reminds me of an almost peach colored Zoya Genesis.
