I took a little shopping trip to Burlington in search of trendy items at a fraction of the cost. In case you didn’t know, Burlington offers many on trend, fashionable pieces at up to 65% off department store prices every day. Here’s a quick overview of some popular spring trends:
Prints have always been huge during the Spring, but this year brings about a new kind of print trend- fun prints. Lips, fruits and 60’s inspired floral prints ruled the runway.
Nothing beats a soft floral print. I personally love floral print on a shirt, but it also looks great on your favorite accesory, like a sleek handbag.
White with a pop of color
This is where you grab an all white dress and pair it with a colorful chunky necklace, or a stack of bracelets or even a hot pair of neon shoes. The choice is yours but the circular theme is a white outfit, with colorful accessories.
Color block is a fun trend that is going nowhere anytime soon. Take a pink top and pair it with a hot, yellow bottom. Or a yellow top with cobalt blue bottoms. The choices are endless.
Blush toned pieces
Blush toned pieces are soft, feminine and chic. Blush tones were huge fall 2011, but they are back once again this time during Spring!
These current trends inspired me to pick up two different outfits from Burlington to usher in spring:
I am a huge fan of the white with a pop of color trend, so I picked up a white dress and paired it with a chunky, aqua colored necklace. The dress has beautiful lace detail on the upper portion and it is very soft, light and flowy. This is my favorite Burlington pick and I will be wearing this on Easter for sure!
I also love the blush toned trend, so I picked up a cute blush top to pair with maybe a white pair of pants. I also snagged these studs to complete the look.
I was able to stay on trend and snag both outfits for $96.72. What fashion trend will you be following this season?
