Don’t Call Me Ma’am (DCMM) is a more than just a skin and body care line, it’s also a subscription service. Don’t’ Call Me Ma’am offers 21st Century skin care with ingredients that are good for your skin (no parabens, sulfates or harsh chemicals) with packaging that is good for the earth, and results that are good for your soul.
I had the opportunity to test drive a few of the products from the ‘Beauty’ subscription package (cleanser, toner, and moisturizer) and here’s what I thought:
This is a very mild and gentle cleanser that does exactly what it intends to do: clean the skin without drying it out. It contains key ingredients like rosemary, milk thistle, sunflower seed oil, and avocado oil to restore hydration and calm the skin. It is recommended that you use this morning and night, and follow up with your toner and moisturizer.
After washing your face, you should always tone. Why? Because occasionally, you do not remove everything you want to remove during the cleansing process. This is like a secondary means of cleansing. Most people hate toners out of fear that they will dry out the skin. DCMM Everyday Toner removes impurities and rejuvenates the skin. It contains allantoin, a skin conditioning agent and grapefruit seed extract and lemongrass extract for bright, clean skin. You will love this toner for the fresh, bright scent but do not get too attached, the scent does not linger very long. It is recommended that you apply this toner morning and night.
Show your face a little love with this everyday facial moisturizer. I’ll admit I like my moisturizers a little more complex- I need some sunscreen in my day moisturizer. This is good however if you plan to apply another face product that contains some form of sun protection (SPF 35 or higher please). Face Love is very gentle, hydrating, and does not have an offensive smell (think oatmeal cookies!).
Don’t Call Me Ma’am offers a wide assortment of subscription services:
- Beauty Package $39 a month for 4 face care products
- Wisdom Package $69 a month for 5 face care products
- Experience Package $99 a month for 7 face care products
I preach this at least 2000 times a day (ok, like once a day)- skincare is important. A skincare routine is important. DCMM is a great product line for someone who is interested in starting and maintaining a skin care regimen because you can pay a flat $39 a month for the basic package, and have everything shipped to you every month hassle free. No running to the store to pick up anything, no worries about waiting for a product to re-stock, just consistent skin care.
Do you have a skin care routine? Is DCMM something you would be interested in? Let me know!
