As we age, our physical health can begin to deteriorate. Even from the age of 18, that is when everything starts to go downhill. But, it seems that now, with health epidemics like obesity, young people, and even children, are suffering from extreme health problems. One of these is losing hearing. Because people go to loud gigs, use earphones, and don’t generally tend to protect their hearing, this can lead to a lot of health problems, not just later in life, but towards the end of your 20s and into your 30s, such as tinnitus. In addition to this, you can begin to rely on your other senses to get you through. If you are concerned about feeling isolated, it’s beneficial to learn to enjoy one’s own company. Learning appropriate coping mechanisms will help as the hearing begins to deteriorate.
