It’s time for fall, which means it is time for new makeup, new fragrances and more importantly, new hair colors! Problem is I have no idea what color I want to dye my hair. Should I pick a rich, chocolate brown? Maybe I’ll pay Melody at Natural U Salon another $65 and go purple. How about a pretty copper? Until I explore a little more and figure out what I want, I’ll use a product that provides REAL temporary color at an affordable price.
Roux Fanci-Full Color Styling Mousse is an inexpensive way to change the shade or your hair, whether it be slightly or dramatically. It can also be used to put the life back into a faded color or hide your roots in between colors. It’s even great for men to use.
I received two colors, Lucky Copper
and Chocolate Kiss
I had a really hard time deciding which shade I wanted to use, but my final vote was Lucky Copper. Lucky Copper is a light auburn that is great for enhancing reds and blondes. Since my hair is a level 4 blonde, this should work out just fine.
I began by washing and conditioning my hair with Roux Anti-Aging Keratin Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, towel drying my hair thoroughly and applying Fanci-Full. It is really simple to use, think of it as applying a styling foam, with color! I did wear gloves to apply because I was afraid of staining my hands, I mean it is a color right? Fortunately, I did test on my hands and it rinses away clean. I generously applied foam all over my hair and the results? Well (looks down):
The color is gorgeous! There was a bit of dye running down my face while it dried, so be sure to do this when you have nowhere to go and nothing to do, or sit under the dryer. Overall the color turned out really well and considering my natural texture, my hair was very soft. So yes, if you have natural hair, you can totally use this and not worry about a change in texture.
