A Girl’s Gotta Spa Energizing Citrus Body Wash Review

A Girls Gotta Spa

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, the editor in chief and blogger behind the beauty niche blog A Girl’s Gotta Spa launched her product line, A Girl’s Gotta Spa! The line currently has two products (another product is in the works) inspired by how Shannon thinks you should treat yourself daily. I have the Energizing Citrus Body Wash to share with you today, so keep reading!

A Girl’s Gotta Spa Energizing Citrus Body Wash is packaged in an 8 ounce frosted bottle with orange labeling. The bottle is lightweight and the perfect size to store just about anywhere in your bathroom.

The scent is fresh, energizing and citrusy. A common problem that I run into when reviewing citrus scented body washes is finding a way to discern them from Joy dishwashing liquid. This is not that body wash. The scent is very bath friendly with grapefruit being the prominent scent with hints of lemon and lime. The scent is perfect for using in the morning, to give you that extra aromatic boost before starting your day.

The body wash formula is very gentle and cleansing. It suds well and rinses clean leaving nothing behind but a fresh light scent of citrus.

My thoughts

Overall, if you love body washes with spa quality ingredients, and you want a unique wash that will leave you feeling and smelling fresh, this one is for you.

A Girl’s Gotta Spa Energizing Citrus Body Wash retails for $31. Pick this up on A Girl’s Gotta Spa website and remember, you deserve to be pampered!

Sidenote: I want to take a second to say how honored I was to even get the opportunity to review a product from Shannon’s line, better yet, to even MEET her. See once upon a time, when I as an admin on makeuptalk.com, and I wanted to find new information on beauty and bath products, she was my go to blog for information to go back and share with the forum. Fast forward to seven years later and not only do I meet her, and take a photo with her, but she hands me a bottle of her body wash! There are really no words to describe meeting your blogging inspiration. Thank you Shannon for the opportunity <3
