Jordana Cosmetics Fabubrow Eyebrow Pencil Swatches And Review

Jordana Fabu Brow

While Jordana Cosmetics Fabubrow Eyebrow pencils are not new to the Jordana family, these three shades are. Originally, there were three basic shades (taupe, medium brown, dark brown), but that collection was recently extended and three more shades were added (soft brown, light taupe, midnight brown). I wanted to show off swatches of the new shades, just in case you are in the market for some new eyebrow pencils.

Light Taupe

Taupe pencils are known as the most universally flattering brow pencil shade for all skin tones. So if you are not comfortable with dark or light browns, give taupe a chance.  Jordana’s Taupe pencil is a dusty, brown taupe. Note that it was very hard to get this swatch.

Soft Brown

Jordana’s Soft Brown pencil is a soft taupe brown. Really hard to swatch with this one as well.

Midnight Brown

This could be my go to pencil because my brows are dark brown, almost black. I know my hair is a funky gold color right now, but I’ve never been a fan of bleaching my brows because I am not a fan of having to bleach every few days (seriously, that’s how fast my brows grow back).  Jordana’s Midnight Brown is a rich, earthy medium toned brown. I honestly expected darker. This, like the other pencils, was very hard to swatch. So hard, in fact, the pencil tip fell off.

Overall I love the unique range of shades, but sadly these don’t apply smoothly or effortlessly. This will of course become a problem when trying to fill in the brows. Maybe I got a bad batch of pencils, so for the price you can risk picking on up.

Jordana Cosmetics Fabubrow Eyebrow Pencils retail for $2.99. Grab the shade that suits you best at Walgreens or
