Laura Mercier Kohl Liner Extreme from the Dark Spell Collection is described as a creamy high pigmented liner that glides on smoothly to add depth and definition to the eyes.
Kohl Liner Extreme is packaged in a shiny black tube. If you didn’t know any better, you would think it is a lipstick tube. The liner twists up like a lipstick as well when you are ready to open and apply it.
The liner is very creamy and smooth, no weird scent. The color is labeled as black. The color is your standard black. It has a shiny finish but contains no glitter or shimmer.
Application is very easy. It glides right on the eye with no problem. I was able to color the waterline easily with no irritation. It did not apply as evenly as I would like but my tears did not wash the color away like some liners do
The only problem I have with this Kohl is maintaining the shape of the liner. This is my first Kohl shaped like this, so I am clueless. Am I supposed to sharpen it when it gets dull? I think this will affect how many uses I actually get out of it, but I will use it as much as I can. I got a full 12 hours out of this liner using my standard Skindinavia finishing spray. It did not fade, smudge or budge.
