Quick Look: L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette Nude 1 Swatches

L’Oreal Colour Riche La Palette Nude (3)

Hey guys!

I am really swamped at the moment and while I may not be able to give you a ‘full’ review (you probably hate those anyway), I did want to make sure my readers got a chance to check out swatches of the Nude Palettes from L’Oreal.

I ran to Walmart the moment a friend of mine purchased them, thinking they would be in my area but nope, nothing. Just a ‘coming soon’ banner.

Luckily, I have two good friends that were able to help me out by purchasing and shipping them to me. Sadly, Nude 1 broke in the package from one friend, but not in the other (yay!)

L’Oreal owns Urban Decay and they clearly thought it would be a good idea to make a more affordable ($19.99) , drugstore version of the Naked 1 and Naked 2 palettes.

Naked 1 gives you 12 shadows at 0.05oz per shadow.  L’Oreal Nude gives you 10 shadows at .062oz per shadow.

Ok swatches:

As a note, these shadows do not have names, just numbers 1-10. So when looking at my swatches, the top row is #1-5 and the bottom row is #6-10. (I shot the swatches at three different angles)

Luckily, if you are a noob to makeup and eyeshadow application, there is a guide right on the back with 4 different looks. You can discover more looks on the Makeup Genius App.

Thoughts:

  • Yes, this palette is well pigmented
  • The shadows are silky in texture
  • There are a mixture of mattes and satins in the palette
  • There is a tiny bit of fallout on some shades ( #3, 4, 6 and 7)

You can find this palette at Target, Amazon, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Drugstore.com for $19.99.

Those palettes are great. Love how you displayed all of the different shades on your hand…so easy to see their true color that way!

As a total Sephora junkie, and an owner of the Urban Decay versions of the Nude Palette, I am THRILLED to see a more affordable option of colors I use almost constantly! I hope they actually have them at my store and not just a teasing banner lol

My daughter loves make up and has the Urban Decay Nude Palette. I am not a make up person and think it is crazy to pay that much for eye shadow! 🙂 I do like the nude palette colors so this would be a great option for me!

These are the only types of colors I wear! 🙂 I will definitely have to look into this. I am a huge fan of the Naked Palettes – I have all 3. But they are starting to dwindle! 🙂
