Skinfood Black Sugar Cleansing Oil ($19.50)

IMG_8510

I’m familiar with the Skinfood brand because they make real BB Creams, but the shade range is so limited, I could not find a shade that worked for me. I have heard that the skincare products are just as good, so I was happy to see this in the starter kit. Cleansing oil is a product that is essential to the ‘double cleansing’ method, because before you use a foam cleanser, you have to oil cleanse. Skinfood Black Sugar Cleansing Oil contains moisturizing minerals to remove makeup and impurities from your skin. The oil is very light, removes makeup in no time and leaves the skin with a light, lemon fragrance.

It’s Skin Have A Greengrape Cleansing Foam ($5)

This cleansing foam is a water-based cleanser that removes sweat and dirt. It also claims to rejuvenate and purify the skin while maintaining a healthy moisture level. You will get one of three cleansing foams- have a greengrape, have an eggshell, have a pomegranate.

Goodal Phytorain Murumuru Seed Hydra Serum ($34)

Every girl should have a serum in their stash. Serums are highly concentrated to penetrate deeply into the skin to lock in moisture and nutrients. Goodal Phytorain serum contains a blend of murumuru seed butter, cupuacu butter and brazil nut seed oil. These ingredients are combined to smooth, nourish and build a lasting moisture barrier. This works best on normal to dry skin.

Tony Moly Bunny Mist ($15)

This adorable little portable bunny helps to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. It contains peach, raspberry and apple extracts to refresh and hydrate skin anytime. It dispenses a very fine mist that has a light, fruity fragrance. I plan to keep this around to use when it heats up outside as a cooling toner on the go!

Bonus: Memebox Hydrogel Mask ($3)

Confession- I have not got into the wonderful world of masks… yet. I really enjoyed one brand of masks I used in the past, but I have yet to see them as essential. I do think it’s cool that you can apply masks like this, and simply rub the ingredients in when you are done. This mask contains baobab tree seed extract, chamomile, niacinamide and adenosine to enhance radiance, alleviate irritation and create firm skin. I did get an opportunity to use it last night and my skin felt really soft and hydrated, but my skin had the texture of plastic. It was weird but it felt great.

Order this skincare starter set for $39 on Memebox’s website. Shipping begins March 23rd.
