Dry Skin? Ain’t nobody got time for that! Maintaining a beauty routine can sometimes be a challenge. I mean there are so many great products on the market. I just bought new body wash a few weeks ago and while it smelled great, it didn’t do much for hydrating my skin. With so many hormonal changes, my skin is very dry. The only thing that keeps my skin moist is sweat (yuck), but on a dry day, my skin suffers. It’s itchy, flaky and dry.

So what do you do when your skin is on  the fritz? Try something new! Thanks to Glam, I went and purchased Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash.  Olay is a gentle scented product that lathers up well, cleans flawlessly and rinses away clean leaving nothing behind but moisture.  This is a sure fire way to combat dry skin.

So other than using Olay, how can you combat dry skin? Here are a few tips!

  • Humectants are your friend… sorta- Products that pull all the moisture out the air and into your skin are great for humid days but don’t try when the air is dry
  • Take warm showers and baths- skip all that hot water, it only dries out the skin more.
  • Pat, don’t rub- leave a little dew on your skin so when you apply your body lotion, cream or butter, it will lock more moisture in.
  • The sun is not your friend- make sure you are wearing some kind of SPF. The sun will leave you looking dry and burned.

Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash retails for $5.99

Did you know that virtually all of the moisturizers in the leading body wash just wash down the drain? Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash is different. The cleansing lather releases a moisturizing lotion. More moisturizers stay on your skin and less go down the drain. The result? More moisturized skin. See the facts at
