Mountain Spirit Botanicals-Mountain Rose Facial Oil Review

You may remember me showing you this beautiful little rose suspended in this golden blend of oils. Mountain Spirit Botanicals Rose Facial Oil is nothing short of a miracle product for me.

At that time I couldn’t do a full review, and I told you guys that because of the sample size. The benefits that were listed on the site were far too grand to review this for a week or two and seriously come out with a decent review. Four months later, I have tried , and I wanted to share my thoughts.

Mountain rose facial oil is 100% fair trade, plant based, vegan skincare oil blend composed of Rosehip Seed Oil; Evening Primrose Oil; Avocado Oil; Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Essential oils of Italian Bergamot, Brazilian Rosewood, Nepalese Lemongrass, Moroccan Rose Geranium, American Sweet Orange. Yes, this is a very fancy list of oils.

A few skin problems that I initially had  before ever touching this product- minimal hyperpigmentation, dry skin, especially in the brow and nose area, my skin felt tight after a few hours no matter what product I used. And let’s just say if I used a moisturizer and I skipped a day, I knew it.

I did my normal daily skin care regimen (exfoliating, oil cleansing), and once my face was rinsed and pat dry. I applied the Mountain Rose Facial Oil to my face, only once a day, massaging it in circles. The smell of the oil is intoxicating, I could smell a combination of lemongrass and a hint of rose.

After week one, my skin was soft. VERY SOFT. It’s because the oil’s rich body of anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids crucial for the skin’s elasticity and suppleness.

I’m not big on consistency, so there were days I went without using this product and guess what? My skin was still very soft and supple. I have no dry, flaky skin since using the oil. The little hyperpigmentation I had… gone. I can confidently walk around with no foundation on and not be ashamed. On a good day, I will slap on some Hydropeptide and that’s it. I get compliments all the time about my skin and how it looks. This is one of the reasons why.

I really think this oil and Hydropeptide are to blame for my skin tone being so even. I glow everyday of the week.

Because I use it only once a day, and sometimes forget, the 2oz bottle lasts me about 4 months. I have a little bit left in the bottle so needless to say, I plan on purchasing this long term. And I know that I initially complained about the price, but now? $34 is worth my face looking like this.
