Murad Pore Reform is a pore specific line of products that treat and prevent blackheads.  Pore Reform was released back in July, and I was so interested in this line that I ditched all other skincare and used it from August until right now.

Pore reform is broken down into three steps: Cleanse|Tone, Treat|Repair, Hydrate|Protect.

Murad daily cleansing foam

Murad Daily Cleansing Foam ($28) has become a staple in  my skincare routine. This is a self foaming cleanser that washes away dirt, oil and other pore cloggers. This foam left my skin clean and soft. My skin was not tight at all and that’s what I love about it. It’s not drying.

Blackhead & Pore Clearing Duo

Blackhead and Pore Clearing Duo ($49.50) is a powerful team that literally removes blackheads. The blackhead remover is a mask in a white paste form that you apply and let sit for about 10 minutes. It’s gritty so if you rub it real good, you will loosen up and exfoliate those blackheads away.  Rinse and apply the Pore Refining Sealer.  This product also reduces the formation of blackheads.

T-Zone Pore Refining Serum

T-Zone Pore Refining Serum ($42) has been the game changer in the tone and texture of my skin.  I apply this to keep my oil production normal (I can get really greasy, especially when I wake up in the morning).  I like to apply this before bed under my nightcream.

Balancing Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 15 PA

Balancing Moisturizer ($35) has become my daily go to facial moisturizer.  I’m not really impressed by the SPF 15, I honestly don’t think it’s enough but my skin is moisturized and soft all day long.

Overall this is a really good and efficient collection. I can attest to the fact that the number of blackheads that were on my face, normally in the temple area reduced dramatically. But let me be honest when I say that I would first wash with the cleanser, then use hot towels and steam my face, then apply the blackhead remover and exfoliate well, then rinse it off, then I would extract (and they would pop right out), then apply the pore sealer, then the moisturizer. I only used the T-Zone serum at night so I wouldn’t wake up like a greaseball in the morning.

Pore Reform is available at the Murad Inclusive Health Spa®,, Sephora, Ulta and leading salon and spa locations. For more information, to purchase or to find a location near you featuring the Pore Reform line, call 1-800-33-MURAD or visit
