NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint is the newest product for Spring 2015 from NARS Cosmetics. NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint delivers soft-matte perfection and protection. This oil-free formula delivers NARS’ signature natural-looking finish and shine control with the skincare benefits of an all-in-one treatment.
NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint is packaged in a 1.7 oz, plastic squeeze tube. The tube makes for easy dispensing. Best part is, you can get every drop out of the tube when you run low. I can travel with this tube without the fear of breaking glass thanks to the plastic design. Easy to carry, easy to store.
When applied the formula is light and airy. It feels like there is nothing on my face at all. Coverage is light with one application and buildable. I applied two coats, waiting 10 minutes between applications for it to set. I did not experience any oxidizing, caking, or fading for up to 8 hours. I did, however experience some transfer on my clothes before using Skindinavia Setting Spray.
Matte Skin Tint has a soft, natural, matte finish.
Because my skin is dry, I did experience a little flaking in my brow area, but it was not as bad as a traditional matte foundation. I do pay closer attention to my severely dry spots during my skincare routine before applying Matte Skin Tint, but overall I can still make it work with ease.
This product also claims to even out skin tone, and this is a claim that I cannot confirm or deny because my skin tone is in good shape right now thanks to Paula’s Choice.
