Oldie But Goodie: Wet n Wild #737 Blue Had Me At Hello

I remember buying this palette last year, or either I received it in a swap (when I was swapping), but either way, it was broken when I got it home and it’s something about a broken palette that just… breaks my spirit.

So last week when I was in Rite Aid looking for what was new in the store, this palette and the neutral one was calling my name. No literally you could hear it. I answered the call. Bonus: they got home in one piece.

This Wet n Wild Coloricon palette was made for everyone that loves blue eyeshadows: the beauty novice, the expert, the collector, the hoarder, this palette is for all of us. It’s especially great for the noobs that always ask the burning question: “Where do I put these colors? What goes in the crease? What do I highlight with?” All of those questions answered, embossed right into the eyeshadows.

Blue Had Me At Hello is 8 shades all in different hues of blue and shades that compliment the blue. You have two options per section of the eye: browbone (you highlight there), the eyelid, the crease (normally your darker color goes here), and the definer (you can line with this shade).

So here are some really quick swatches above (isn’t this palette pretty?) . The shadows are silky smooth, they all have really good pigmentation, I had no problem blending, I had no problems with creasing and I got 12 good hours out of wearing these colors (with a primer of course, can’t leave home without it).

This is a palette that’s really too great to pass up so make sure you check your local drugstores. I paid $4.99 for this. 8 great pigmented shadows for $4.99? Yes ladies, you need milk this and Walgreens has it (or Rite Aid, or CVS).
