Olie Biologique: Beauty In A Bottle?

It seems like everyday a new company is coming up with a new skincare product. But are you noticing something? Yes, they are not putting face moisturizers in cream form very much. They are skipping all the chemicals and bottling in straight oil form.

Take Olie Biologique, who outright states that oil is the new face cream, the aromatic alternative to moisturizers because it saturates the skin, replenishes lost moisture to plump cheeks, promotes circulation, and creates a barrier that locks hydration in and dryness out.

I tested two oils: Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond oil.

Evening Primrose oil, touted for its healing powers, evening primrose is a wildflower that grows throughout North America, Europe and some parts of Asia. The oil from this plant offers one of the most concentrated sources of gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), an essential component of collagen synthesis.

Honestly the samples were really small, I did use this oil on my face for a week straight, I liked the softness that it gave my skin, but that’s all I can honestly report. I did notice a difference in my skin after I ran out of the oil, so maybe that’s a good thing.

Next was Sweet Almond oil. Almond oil is an ideal carrier for essential oils in aromatic massages. Sweet Almond oil application provides an instant relief of muscle pain. It has a high concentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids. Though, it is mostly used for giving a body massage it can also be used as a night cream.

I have been on a weight loss journey for about 3 weeks now, and one thing after a long workout…muscle pain. That’s what I used the sweet almond oil for. I warmed it a little bit in a hot cup of water, and massaged it where I felt the most pain. The oil absorbs into the skin fast, the high concentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids alleviates pain. I am very interested in getting a larger bottle of this because I actually felt a difference in pain after using this oil. I am not a medical expert and I cannot speak for anyone else, but it did wonders for me!

Olie Biologique is available at http://www.oliebiologique.com/. You can purchase samples if you just want to try them out, but the prices are affordable for samples and full sized amounts.

I as well really like to use moisturizing oil. My older skin responds to it so much better than cream or lotion.
I have a three year old patent on a marvelous product– It's called Moisturizer Infusor. I'm in the process of trying to find an appropriate licensee. A lengthy family illness prevented me from moving forward until now. Google Moisturizer Infusor if you wish to view the DVD.
