Here are swatches from OPI’s San Francisco Collection. This is all of the liquid sand texture lacquers that were included in the collection. Liquid sand lacquers are a thin, yet well pigmented lacquer with a sand texture mixed in the lacquer that dries matte and leaves a fine gritty texture on the nail. There were only three liquid sands in this collection, so check out the swatches and stay tuned for swatches of the rest of the collection.

It’s All San Andrea’s Fault is a deep earth toned taupe. It applies easily with two coats and dries matte.

Alcatraz Rocks is a midnight blue with multi-colored glitter shimmer. It’s a really nice color, but the formula is very thick and clumpy, but strangely still easy to apply. I applied two coats. The photo above is with flash, the photo below is without flash.

Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a bright medium blue that dries to a blue sandy finish. This is another one that works well with two coats.

San Francisco nail lacquer shades each feature OPI’s exclusive ProWideBrush for the ultimate in application. Liquid Sand nail lacquers should always be worn without top coat. San Francisco by OPI will be available August 7, 2013, at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $9.00 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

I’m somehow not so smitten by these. I preferred the bond girls, they were so nice and glittery 🙂
