Warning: lots of gushing ahead, followed by squeals of glee.
THIS is the collection I’ve been waiting my whole nail polishing collecting days for. When I found out my ultimate childhood favorite was teaming up with OPI, I was over the moon! To this day, I can recite most of A Charlie Brown Christmas from memory. It irritates my husband to no end when I start doing that during the annual telecast.
While my inner child is totally excited that there are finally Peanuts-themed polishes, the seasoned polish collector is a bit let down. I understand the color scheme with it being a Halloween collection, but I feel like there is so much more potential…perhaps as a future holiday collection?
Good Grief! (three coats) is Charlie Brown’s signature t-shirt color, which is perfectly complemented by…
Who Are You Calling Bossy?!? (two coats), a great fit for the Charlie Brown chevron or Lucy’s raven hair.
To me, the glitters are too heavy on the black glitter. While it is a Halloween collection, I wish there was a bit more variety in the glitter mixes.
To Be Or Not To Beagle (ring,/pinky finger) is a “happy-dance of colors in a joyful glitter”.
b (index/ middle finger) “awaits the Great Pumpkin in this orange and black glitter”.
Despite my reservations, I am still considering buying a full set in order to get the Peanuts cardboard backdrop and the mini set for the beyond adorable nail art stickers. Childhood habits die hard!
Do you have any childhood obsessions you would like to see as a polish line?
