Pure Ice Perfect Potion Halloween Collection Swatches And Review

Pure Ice Perfect Potion

Hey everyone!  I hope you’re all enjoying fall weather.  While the South doesn’t have the beautiful color-changing trees, it’s a nice break from the heat and vicious bugs J

Today I have three polishes from Pure Ice Perfect Potion Collection.  Pure Ice is one of Wal-Mart’s hidden gems; a budget-friendly line of nail polish.

blackout

Blackout is a well-applying black crème.  If you can’t find Wet ‘N Wild’s Black Crème, Blackout is a great alternative.  It’s opaque in two coats and can be used as a base for nail art or layering sheer colors.

blackoutdazzleme

Dazzle Me is a disco ball of silver glitter and silver holographic hexagonal glitters.  I used it over Blackout as a glitter gradient.

freespirit

Free Spirit is a crème with subtle shimmer.  Like Blackout, it was also well-applying and took two coats for opacity.  This light green leans chartreuse and fits in with the Halloween theme.

I attempted some nail art using the three polishes:  The base is Free Spirit, the detailing is in Blackout and the eyes are the larger glitter found in Dazzle Me.

Overall, I was impressed by the ease of application of these polishes! Two-coaters for cheap?  Sign me up!

Pure Ice can be found at Walmart.com and Wal-Mart stores for $1.97.
