Today I have several miscellaneous polish from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  Two are December’s featured items and the other five are from January.Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  Two are December’s featured items and the other five are from January.

December’s Featured Items:

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - Sugarplum Siren flash

Sugarplum Siren (two coats):  slightly pinked white with a red to green shifting shimmer

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - Lighthouse on the Lake

Lighthouse on the Lake (2 coats):  medium dusty blue crème

I attempted to capture Sugarplum Siren’s shimmer using flash.  It’s very subtle effect that makes it stand out.  Lighthouse on the Lake is very pigmented, so I recommend wearing a base coat (I recommend Pretty Serious Force Field, a stain-prevention base) to help avoid Smurf nails.  If you are careful, you can apply it in one coat.  As a plus, it can be used for nail stamping art.

January’s Featured Items:

Innocence in the Moment collection

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - Basking in the Storm

Basking in the Storm (two coats):  amethyst purple with blue and aqua shimmers

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - Chasing the Skyline

Chasing the Skyline (two coats):  royal blue with rainbow iridescent flakies

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - I Only Meant To Stay A While flash

I Only Meant to Stay a While (two coats):  emerald green jelly with micro holographic glitters in green, silver, blue and purple

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - The Seasons Change

The Seasons Change (two coats):  berry pink linear holographic with platinum micro-flakies

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Innocence in the Moment Spring 2016 - Snowbunny Siren

Snowbunny Siren (two coats):  periwinkle linear holographic with larger platinum flakies and gold glass flecks

I am over the moon for Snowbunny Siren.  I have not seen a combination of holographic polish and metallic flakes such as this, but the combination definitely works.  The only drawback to Snowbunny Siren is the removal…you might as well pull out the foil and acetone for this one.

The formulas are great for this collection, all apply smoothly and are opaque in two coats.  I also provided flash pictures of the holographics to accurately capture the sparkle.

The December items are available now—Sugarplum Siren is $12 and Lighthouse on the Lake is part of the $17 Destination Duo.  The January products go on sale January 27.  With the exception of The Seasons Change ($12), the other three from Innocence in the Moment are $8.50.  Snowbunny Siren is a limited-edition item ($12) and I’d grab this baby first, because it’s not going to last long.
