Salon Perfect Brow Pomeade 2

If Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow is totally out of your budget, this may be a friendly and cheaper alternative. Salon Perfect Brow Pomade! I am a big fan of exposing more affordable alternatives, anything to save a buck or two and this case, you are saving $13.12! Keep reading to check out swatches and my rants and raves!

Salon Perfect Brow Pomade weighs in at .11oz vs .14oz of Dipbrow, so you are losing .3oz of product with Salon Perfect. Not a big deal. Salon Perfect Brow Pomade is packaged in acrylic jars with a black screw top. The design keeps product fresh and moist longer. Every pomade comes with a dual ended brush- one side to brush your brows and the other end to apply the pomade.

Salon Perfect Brow Pomade comes in three shades- blonde, light brown and dark brown vs Dipbrow’s selection of 11 shades. This can leave you at a bit of a disadvantage if you are looking for more specific shades. But if your brows fall into one of the three shades Salon Perfect carries, you are good to go.

The shade range is very limited with only three shades available. In my mind, it is an unspoken rule that there should always be a taupe shade, because taupe is a universal brow shade. Hopefully over time, they add more shades to the collection. My other rant will be focused on the dark brown shade- it has more sparkle to it than I’m used to. While the others were a true matte, this one had sparkle that stood out from the pack. I’m curious why it was added to the formula, and what I have to do for them to remove it. Last rant, that is not so much a rant but a word of caution. When picking up the product to apply, you have to be careful because the formula is so creamy, you can pick up too much.

The creaminess of the formula is unreal for under $5. You can pick up product with ease. While these are not technically waterproof, they are sweat-proof and have staying power of well over 10 hours in this Mississippi heat and humidity. Naturally, I am attracted to the $4.88 price tag and the availability of the product (Walmart).

Salon Perfect Brow Pomade retails $4.88. It is available in three shades and can be purchased from Walmart.

This is such an informative post! I remember when I started working with my bows I would use black and could never figure out why I always looked super crazy! LOL

I am going to look for dark brown. I am curious how it will compare to Dipbrow, which has been my holy grail brow filler since I bought it.

I think I want to try the dark brown, but I’m used to pencils (Anastasia’s and it cosmetics’) so I don’t know how I feel about the fact that there is shimmer in that one. It is a bit odd that it’s the only shade that has glitter out of the 3. :/

I can see a little of the sparkle in the dark brown but I agree with the limited shade range. I personally would like a brown that’s darker than light brown but not at dark as dark brown. Sometimes a brow that’s too dark can look really harsh depending on your skin tone and hair color.

I can see the sparkle. What a strange choice. Hooray for budget friendly alternatives though.

I also wonder why there is a sparkle. Good to know this brand rivals Anastasia Dipbrow
