  • A tiny @lushcosmetics haul. Well it’s not terribly tiny, it’s the Rosie gift set. It’s the body wash, lotion, body spray and bubbleroon. @letmegrillofficial took me to New Orleans a few weeks ago and I stopped by Lush and picked up The Olive Branch body wash and a Sex Bomb and she gave me a sample of Rose Jam. All those years on their media list and I never sniffed it. But I instantly fell in love. It’s a strong hint of citrusy rose that mellows to a vanilla dry down. It’s so perfect. Your Skin But Better Primer is an oil-free, makeup gripping base that makes your makeup last all day. It promises to hydrate, minimize the look of pores and make the skin appear smoother. . . My thoughts: This primer dispenses like a gel and applies like a watery moisturizer. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves behind a natural matte finish. There's no fragrance (yay), but does contain Red 4 (be careful if you are sensitive to dyes). The formula contains nylon (to mattify), dimethicone (barrier to reduce moisture loss), glycerin (attract hydration) and sulfonic acid (exfoliant) to name a few. I noticed SPF was missing from this primer, so make sure to pair it with a #foundation, #bbcream or #cccream with SPF 35 or greater (like @itcosmetics CC+ Illumination (SPF 50) or CC Matte (SPF 40). . .
