Too Faced recently released a new eyelash extension mascara set. If you remember, when Better Than False Lashes was originally released, I was not in love. Could the extreme version make me happy? We shall see! Maybe it is because my lashes are already long. Maybe I am being greedy. Regardless, I have to know if this works.

Too Faced claims they improved the extension kit by improving the mascara formula (it dries quicker). They also claim that the duo fiber spiral brush captures every lash and the nylon fibers make for extreme length.

So the first step is to take the gold tube and apply to prime the lashes. Application was simple enough. The wand did a decent job of separating lashes:

Now it’s time to take the white tube and apply the nylon fibers to build the lashes and make them longer.  The nylon lashes applied in clumps which was enough to make my eyes water in fear of nylon falling in my eyes (it does not hurt, but it is uncomfortable if it happens). I applied one coat of the nylon fiber, one to two coats was directed:

Finally, apply the gold tube again to seal the fibers with mascara. The sealing application was very clumpy, and my lashes were beginning to stick together. I brushed over my lashes a few times to break my lashes up for more definition, but that just did not happen. I ended up giving my lashes partial definition with a toothpick.

And this is what we are left with (I did not clean up my undereye area), before on the left, after on the right:

My lashes are a tad longer, darker and have a little more volume.

Does this mascara slay my fave? Of course not:

Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme retails for $35. Pick this up on Too Faced’s website.

I tried the original Better Than False Lashes, and honestly didn’t wow me.

Your real lashes are already long. I like the outcome, don’t know if I want to pay $35 though 🙂

Your real lashes are nice and long. I think I would like this if my eyes weren’t so sensitive.

Love your real lashes. Usually, the fibre in mascaras tends to irritate my eyes, so I’m not sure I want to try this, despite the results.

You have very pretty natural lashes! I am not really a fan of anything fiber related. They bother my eyes.

I like your lashes better au naturel, with just mascara, no gimmicky fiber thingies.

This looks like one of those mascaras where I absolutely NEED one of those metal lash combs. As much as I hate my stumpy lashes…most extensions just don’t do it for me.
