Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly (1)

While everybody is raving about Too Faced Peach, I had my eyes on another palette.

From Too Faced, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette is inspired by the social media sensation that is Peanut Butter from their bestselling Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Collection.

From first sight, I knew I had to have it, but I also had some reservations. Too Faced has gotten into the habit of scenting their cosmetic products. The Chocolate Bar palette and the Cocoa Contour palette both smell like chocolate. It’s also a very realistic smell. So I was concerned that the Peanut Butter and Jelly palette would smell like peanuts. And I am allergic to peanuts. The sheer smell of them breaks me out into hives. But for once, the smell was not realistic, and the product does not contain actual peanuts. We can consider this a win for me.

Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly (2)

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly palette feature nine shadows, a combination of mattes and shimmers. The shadows feature antioxidant-rich cocoa powder. It is supposed to smell like peanut butter, but it actually smells like marshmallow to me.

Shades in the palette include:

Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Swatches (3)

  • Spread the love
  • Peanut Butter
  • Peanut Butter Cup

Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Swatches (2)

  • Bananas
  • Peanut Brittle
  • Jammin

Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Swatches (1)

  • Extra Creamy
  • Jelly
  • Nuts About You

Peanut Butter and Extra Creamy were the only problematic shades from the palette (let’s be honest, just about every palette has a shade that goes rogue on us). Peanut Butter is hard to swatch but pigmentation is buildable. Extra Creamy is hard to swatch, streaky, and seriously, it’s a shade I wouldnt use anyway. It really needs some sparkle.

I created a couple of looks using the palette as well! Details below:

These colors are actually really pretty! I was apprehensive about the “jelly” part but it looks so fab on you!
