If you are not familiar with BB Creams, read here.
The concept of the BB Cream is still going strong and Urban Decay is not throwing their hat in the ring and producing a BB Cream- Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm. Naked Skin Beauty Balm is a multitasking formula that perfects by evening out skintone, minimize pores, lines wrinkles and redness. Protect with SPF 20 and a special ingredient to inhibit DNA damage. Treat to firm skin and improve elasticity. Prime so makeup goes on and stay put. Hydrate the skin and improve hydration over time.
(There was an issue with my camera’s focus, hence the lighter hand, lol. It’s not the BB cream I promise!)
The BB Cream is lightweight and oil free. It’s not as thick as some of the other BB creams that I have come in contact with, but blends easily, leaving nothing behind but a semi-matte finish. Though they do not market it as a standalone product, you could very well wear this alone. Also keep in mind that there is no white cast left on the skin, though it is slightly tinted. It has a smell like your standard foundation.
How to use
For best results, Urban Decay recommends that you apply the beauty balm and let it dry, then buff Naked Skin Liquid Makeup with their Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush (which is the best brush on the market right now for applying ANY foundation).
I will give an official review of this product soon, but that’s your heads up for the night. A new BB cream created by Urban Decay that looks promising.
