Veet Fast Acting Gel Cream Review + My Favorite Summer Hack

veet

Summer is the season for silky smooth legs. Veet has created an easy way to remove hair from the legs and body with a gel cream hair remover. Veet Fast Acting Gel Cream Hair Remover claims to give smoothness that lasts up to 2x as long as shaving. Veet’s formula has ingredients that helps restore the skin’s hydration, but works close to the root of the hair.

Application is very easy. Just get in an empty tub or a tiled floor (don’t do this on carpet), apply the gel formula to your legs and let it sit a minimum of 5 minutes, maximum of 10 minutes. Use the head of the spatula to test an area of the skin after about 5 minutes. If the hair comes off easily, you are ready to remove the rest of the Veet. Use the smaller edge of the razor to remove curvier areas like the bikini line, underarm, knees and ankles. When you are done, rinse your skin thoroughly.

You should now have the smoothest skin possible. Veet is a summer hack in a bottle. No more struggle with razors, nicks and cuts.

Speaking of summer hacks, what’s your favorite summer beauty hack?

Mine? The 2 minute ocean facial. Have you ever noticed people that frequent the beach have perfect skin? It’s the salt! That leaves people like me that live in the woods at a disadvantage because I don’t have a salty body of water around. So what do you do? You create an ocean facial!

Tools needed:

  • spray bottle
  • sea salt
  • warm water
  • dry washcloth

Directions:

  1. Fill a 16 ounce bottle with warm water
  2. Add one tablespoon of sea salt
  3. Shake well
  4. Spray your salty concoction on a dry towel

Sea salt is a natural antiseptic, so it’s sure to clear up your skin. Follow up with your favorite facial oil or moisturizer.  Now you are glowing!  YOU GLOW GIRL!!!
