I got some products from Pantene to recreate a hairstyle for the holidays and I’m going the standard, safe and always magnificent route. A roller set! This is my hair from about a year ago. I wish I could have the color again too but I can settle for the curls!
The roller set is the easiest and safest way to get a head full of curls without damaging your hair from the heat of curling irons. The roller set used to be my go to hairstyle about a year ago, but I cut all my hair off in January and it’s been a journey growing my hair back, transitioning from natural to relaxed again, and just keeping my hair healthy. Now that my hair is longer again (but not the length it used to be), I can go back to rolling my hair.
The difference between myself and most people that wear roller sets is I use NO heat. No, not even to sit under the dryer. I usually just roll my hair, and wear a huge headscarf. Sleeping with rollers is not uncomfortable to me because I have good pillows that make me forget I even have in rollers.
So here’s a list of everything Pantene sent me to create the look:
- Pantene Truly Relaxed Collection
- Pantene Stylers Heat Protection Spray
- Daily Moisture Renewal Silky Moisture Whip
- Heat Shield Heat Potion Serum
- Pantene Advanced+ Keratin Repair KeraGloss Oil Mist
- Pantene Stylers Flexible Hold Hairspray
I’m very excited about using the whipped hair foam and the heat protectant serum! You already know how much I love the Truly Relaxed collection, so no problems there! It was made specifically for hair that’s been relaxed because let’s face it, our hair tends to be more vulnerable to damage.
I’m going to go do my hair now, and I will be back with photos of my finished hairstyle using all Pantene products! This could go really good, or really bad!
