Weight Watchers Simple Start: Hey Progress!

It’s been one week since giving Weight Watchers a shot, and now it’s time for a little progress update. I think I’m in love. Simple Start has been a no frills program that gives me all the motivation, all the tools, and all the knowledge without the pressure.

With five kids, a family to maintain, a blog to consistently run, and all the other hats I wear, sometimes things like eating right get in the way. Through Simple Start I have learned to eat right even when I really don’t have time. I’ve found time to exercise and Simple Start provided me with some simple ways to get more activity in my life, like how to get a workout in when I’m stuck at home. This beats sitting around watching TV and eating Talenti (I still love you Talenti, even though we cant be together).  Another change that I’ve made is to get off my butt. Blogging requires you to do a lot of sitting and typing right? WRONG! I now spend two of my four hours a day standing up to type, photograph and swatch.

I also love the recipes that you find on the site. My love for bacon is no more on the weekends, it’s been replaced with granola and smoothies. Speaking of smoothies, I love the Weight Watchers French Vanilla Smoothie. I toss a few blueberries in and I’ve received all the nutrients and energy I need to get through a grueling morning of writing and answering emails.

The few pounds that I’ve lost feels great. I plan on keeping my subscription long after this campaign is over. The end goal is not to be skinny, but to be healthy, energetic and happier about me.
