Happy holiday season! Zoya’s holiday offering is a new line of their MatteVelvet series. Earlier this year, they re-released 6 MatteVelvet shades…there are some similarities, but you’ve got to get them all!
Amal (two coats): classic crimson red with a ruby red pearl fleck
Aspen (two coats): sparkling arctic white with a micronized diamond pearl fleck
Honor (two coats): true emerald green with a tone on tone emerald pearl fleck
Iris (two coats): deep amethyst with a fuchsia pearl fleck
Sue (two coats): soft champagne gold with a multi-hued oyster shell pearl fleck
Yves (two coats): deep sapphire in between indigo and royal blue with a blue pearl fleck
The formula is easy flowing and applies well. Aspen is the most difficult due to the white pigment and may need 3 thin coats. All are shown with top coat on the ring fingernail.
One may worry, wait, hasn’t Zoya done some of these shades before? Yes, but they are different enough to justify owning both.
Amal on index finger, Amal with top coat on middle finger, Posh with top coat on ring finger, Posh on pinky finger
Amal is a brighter, tomato red with flecks versus Posh’s satin-like wine red.
Honor on index finger, Honor with top coat on middle finger, Verushka with top coat on ring finger, Verushka on pinky finger
Honor is a brighter green with flecks versus Verushka’s forest green with flecks.
Savita (half matte, half top coat) on index finger, Iris with top coat on middle finger, Harlow (half matte, half top coat) on ring finger, Iris on pinky finger
Iris is a pink-toned amethyst versus Savita’s bluish violet with pink shimmer and Harlow’s fuchsia flecks.
These polishes are retailed at $10 a piece and $60 for the whole set. However, if you order it using Zoya’s holiday Make Your Own 6pc Dream Box offer, you can get all six for $40 with free shipping.
